Consider yourself warned!
A guide for those who think they want children.

If you have school aged kids, I know you can relate to this … I can’t wait for school to be over (and we have seven more months to go). I’m tired of doing homework and school projects!!! Let me tell you, kids are going to have trouble at some point with their homework, and they are going to ask you to help them. When that day comes, Google will be your best friend. Now, it doesn’t matter how old you are, trust me, it’s been awhile since you’ve been in school and what they’re teaching now is totally different from what you learned all those years ago.
I remember when my daughter was in the fourth grade learning geometry. I was trying to help her with her homework. I looked at it, had no clue what a vertex was, and had to google it. All I could think was, “I know what triangles, squares, rectangles, circles, and trapezoids are, but damn, I have no clue what this @$!!%& is.” I had to print out a geometry guideline to refer back to the whole time the class was on that topic. Needless to say, geometry was her lowest score in math. Then, when my son was a freshman in a specialized high school, the principal warned us parents on parent night that eventually we would not be able to help our kids with their homework. I thought, “Oh, this man is exaggerating.” Well, a few months into the school year, I asked my son about his homework. He said that he had finished his homework, but that there was an algebra problem that he didn’t understand and that he was going to ask his teacher about it the next day. I told him that I used to be good in algebra, and I offered to look at it. Why did I even bother? I looked at that math problem and didn’t have a clue as to what was going on! I just looked at him and said, “Oh yeah, you’re going to have to ask your teacher about this tomorrow!” If it’s not the endless homework and papers to proof read, it’s the projects! I mean, really. Why do we need to have so many projects? All projects are another avenue for me to spend money! I need a big construction paper, I need paint, I need markers, I need index cards, I need construction paper in different colors, I need ribbons, I need colored pencils, I need to go to my friend’s house after school tomorrow because we need to work on the group project together, I need you to help me! All those I need, I need, I need, translates to money, money, and more money! I tell you, I really hate those projects, with a passion. Once school is over, I will have a good two whole months where I don’t have to think about any of this. Man how I love summer vacation. I can’t wait ‘til June. Enjoy it now if you don’t have to worry about homework, papers, and projects. Your day will soon come! Consider yourself warned! Parents, what do you have to say about this?

Wow! I have heard parents complain abt this sort of thing. I think it's just math that stumps parents.

Trust me, it's not just math. There's also science, science projects, research projects, foreign languages ... there's something to google in just about every class!
